Dr. David Wilson completed six years of advanced post-doctoral training since dental school. He studied dentistry and undertook an implantology residency at the European University of Madrid. A native of Tampa, Florida, he then returned to the U.S. to complete his implant restorative dentistry fellowship, periodontics residency and master of science in dentistry at LSU School of Dentistry. Dr. Wilson has been licensed to practice in Spain since 2009 and worked as a general dentist while living abroad. He is fluent in Spanish and English.

Dr. Wilson's practice focuses on comprehensive periodontal treatment, with a special interest in surgical and restorative implant dentistry. During training, he also completed advanced continuing education courses in implantology, including at the Misch International Implant Institute. 

Outside the office, Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, traveling, snow skiing, playing tennis and cooking. He is thrilled to serve patients in the New Orleans area, his home since 2011. 

Aymee Costales-Spindler, DDS 

Dr. Aymee Costales-Spindler graduated from LSU with Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biological Sciences. She earned her dental degree and completed her residency at LSU School of Dentistry. 

She focuses on cosmetic and regenerative periodontics and oral medicine, and she attends courses covering the latest developments in these fields each year. She also contributed to clinical research on a rare autoimmune disease, published in Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, and Oral Surgery (2003; 96 (6)). She is a member of the same professional associations as Dr. Steve Spindler. 

Drs. Spindler have worked together since 1987 in their present location, and they proudly welcome Dr. Wilson to their periodontal practice.
